Are you looking to inspire creativity and spark curiosity in your group or classroom?
The Durango Art Docents, now part of Seed Studio, are here to help! We are a dedicated group of volunteers who share our passion for art by presenting engaging art history lessons paired with hands-on art projects.
Our presentations feature a wide range of artists, including renowned photographers, innovative sculptors, and celebrated painters. With so many artists to choose from, there’s always something new to discover and
create.
Teachers can easily pair our featured artists with their current studies for an even richer educational experience—for example, exploring the life cycle of plants through the vibrant flowers of Georgia O’Keeffe, investigating cloud formations through the luminous landscapes of Stanton Englehart, or connecting Michelangelo’s masterpieces with a lesson in science and engineering.
