Ages 11+ Led by: Kathryn Samaltanos If an afternoon spent experimenting with clay and glazes in our cool studio on a hot summer day sounds amazing, this is the camp for you! Students will dive into hands-on ceramic exploration, learning foundational handbuilding techniques including slab, coil, and pinch methods. Using a wide variety of tools, young artists will build, shape, carve, and texture their own ceramic pieces while developing confidence and creativity. With plenty of room for experimentation and personal expression, this class encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and discovery—perfect for both beginners and returning clay lovers.
