Lotus Girls: GIRLtopia

For grades K-5 10 week session Instructor: Kathryn Samaltanos Seed Studio invites girls to join us this winter to imagine and create GIRLtopia. In this class Lotus Girls will collaborate with Durango's local Girl Scout troop of 5 high-school girls, who are working on their GIRLtopia Journey. The GIRLtopia Journey aims to imagine a perfect world for girls that bolsters courage, confidence, and character through art. We'll explore collage, watercolor, and other mediums to make individual and collaborative art works.
